Work Log - 2026-06-13

🎯 Focus for Today

  • opsgov work: sub-agent model, commit signing policy, sprint dashboard

✅ What Got Done

  • Reviewed and revised the module template's commit signing policy across CONTRIBUTING.md, AGENTS.md, and SECURITY.md.
  • Approved purchase of a Logitech Ergo K860 wireless ergonomic keyboard for John (~$248 NZD on company card). Consulted ChatGPT to compare options against the current Logi Wave (too small) and Logi K350 (too large/noisy). The K860 split-curve design and scissor keys should hit the sweet spot.

🧠 Notes & Reflections

The sub-agent model is clicking into place: opsgov bridges smunz governance and opsdev delivery, opsfin does the ledger work under opsdev. Both share their parent's keys. This means we can develop these roles without solving the "how does an agent sign a commit" problem — the human signs, the agent drafts.

The commit signing policy was slightly awkward before. "Verifiable human identity" sounded like we were checking passports. The revised language says what we actually mean: signed, traceable to an email address that identifies a human contributor. We're not verifying identity, we're requiring accountability.
